Jewish Women's Society of IRAN (JWSI)
This society was established in 1979.
The goals of JWSI are, in brief, as follows:
- To provides services for the deprived strata of the Jewish community and establish
links among them.
- To cook food for Jewish Home for the Elderly.
- To provide food and cloths for Nursery Homes.
- To provide medical Services for the ill.
The social activities of Jewish women and creation of links between them take place
through synagogues where educational programs and art classes are provided. These
programs help Jewish women elevate their mind and morals and increase their knowledge,
and assist in bringing them under one platform for team-working.
