| Highlights of events & happenings of Imam Haadis (AS) lifetime Age 0 : Al-Haadi is born to al-Jawaad (9thImam) and Samannah (daughter of Ammar Ibn Yasirs family). Age 6 : Al-Haadis father (9th Imam al-Jawaad) is in Baghdad at the summon of Khalifa al-Mutasim, dies there later. Age 11-14 : Curious scholars ask al-Haadi questions, are amazed at his depth of knowledge. Age 15 : Al-Haadi is popular, his following is on the increase and is not hampered by Khalifa al-Mutasim. Age 19 : Al-Haadi gets married, Al-Askari is born a year later. Age 20 : Imam al-Haadi is not hampered by Khalifa al-Wathiq and al- Mutawakkil persecutes the Imamah-asserters. Age 22 : al-Wathiq bil laah dies. Age 22 : al-Haadi is summoned by Khalifa al-Mutawakkil to Samurraa and moves to Samurraa along with his family. Age 23 : Khalifa Al-Mutawakkil orders the destruction of Karbala and Najaf shrines, but does not succeed. He postpones the execution of his command. Age 30 : Al-Haadi builds a house, but now is under limited surveillance, and is actively teaching, counselling, receiving delegations from all over. Age 33 : Khalifa AL-Mutawakkil put orders to demolish the shrines of Karbala and Najaf, plough the area, and flood it with Euphrates water. And clashes between the Imamah-Asserters and forces of AL-Mutawakkil. Age 36 : Al-Mutawakkil is killed by his own son AL-Mun tasir. Al-Muntasir revokes his fathers ( AL-Mutawakkil ) tyrannical rules, returns the Awqaaf to Banu Talib and Fadak to the progeny of AL-Hasan (a.s.) and AL-Husain (a.s.). Age 39 : al-Mustaeen dies and was succeeded by al-Mutazz. Age 40 : In his early forties AL-Haadi was martyred. Imam al Haadi may peace be upon him, said : "Remember when you are on your deathbed and your body is lying before your family members, then there is no physician to prevent you (from death) nor a friend to avail you."
