Welcome to the Political Section of the Embassy

Iran and Canada established their Political Relations in 1955. Before then the Canadian Consular and Commercial Affairs in Iran were handled by the British Embassy. After the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the two countries reconstructed their relations in 1990. Now Both sides enjoy full relations at the ambassadorial level. The two countries are interested in a better mutual understanding and they are expanding their friendly relations.
